James Emert serves as Director of Acquisitions at MC Companies, where he is responsible for sourcing, underwriting and executing multifamily real-estate investments. He holds a Master’s Degree in Finance from the University of San Diego’s Knauss School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Arizona. Prior to his current role, James built a strong foundation in acquisitions and asset management across firms including Avenue North and others, with experience underwriting over one billion dollars in value-add multifamily properties across Arizona, Utah and California. With his analytical rigor and strategic mindset, James plays a key role in driving MC Companies’ growth and value-creation efforts in the competitive multifamily market.
