On September 10th, MC Companies hosted its 4th annual Volunteer Day, and our teams across Arizona, Nevada, and Texas made a big impact in their local communities. From packing food boxes to preparing meals, our employees rolled up their sleeves to fight hunger and support families.

Here’s a look at what we accomplished together:

· Phoenix, AZ: 5,184 emergency food boxes packed

· Tucson, AZ: 2,798 senior boxes + 4,925 TEFAP boxes

· Flagstaff, AZ: Sandwiches and kitchen prep for community meals

· Sierra Vista, AZ: Partnered with St. Vincent de Paul to support local programs

· Las Vegas, NV: 1,021 kids’ meals + 332 snacks prepared at Three Square Food Bank

· Houston, TX: 6,750 meals prepared

· Dallas, TX: 800+ boxes completed and hundreds more pre-packed

· San Antonio, TX: 570 produce boxes distributed = 18,295 meals

“Volunteer Day is about living out our values. Every box packed and every meal prepared represents a family that will have one less worry,” said MC Companies’ Chief Operating Officer, Brian Kearney.

Volunteer Day is part of our Sharing the Good Life Foundation, which partners with residents, team members, and community organizations to fight hunger, support families, and strengthen neighborhoods.

We’re proud of what we achieved this year — and even more proud of our people who make giving back part of who we are.
