SCOTTSDALE, AZ – March 24, 2025 – MC Companies has been recognized as the third-highest food donor in the nation through Move For Hunger’s annual food drive, contributing an impressive 10,399 pounds of food to the nationally recognized nonprofit organization. The announcement brings the company great pride, as MC Companies was slightly beaten by two companies that manage more than 85,000 units each, compared to MC Companies’ 7,600 units.
This achievement highlights MC Companies’ ongoing commitment to community support and corporate social responsibility. The substantial donation will help Move For Hunger in its mission to reduce food waste and fight hunger across North America.
“We’re thrilled about where we ranked and always intend to do more, not just through food donations but with volunteer efforts through Sharing the Good Life,” said Lyn Marquis, philanthropy director for MC Companies and president of the company’s Sharing the Good Life Foundation.
Move For Hunger, established in 2009, has delivered more than 57 million pounds of food to food banks across the United States and Canada. The organization creates sustainable solutions to reduce food waste and fight hunger by collecting nonperishable food items and delivering them to local food banks.
MC Companies has established itself as a vital contributor within Move For Hunger’s network of multifamily real estate companies that have successfully integrated charitable giving into their operational framework.
