Scottsdale, Ariz. – October 15, 2024 – MC Companies successfully concluded its 2024 summer Collegiate Internship Program in September. This exciting initiative welcomed seven interns, the most ever for the company, across various departments. The program offered participants hands-on experience in the Construction, Accounting, Corporate Operations, Property Operations, Acquisitions, Marketing, and Human Resources departments.
The internship program reflects MC Companies’ commitment to fostering the next generation of multifamily industry leaders by providing opportunities for students and recent graduates to gain real-world insights into the multifaceted operations of the company. Throughout the summer, the interns worked closely with experienced professionals and contributed to key projects that will shape their careers.
Underscoring the success of the program, MC Companies is pleased to retain Construction Intern Alex Robinson on an extended part-time basis as he continues his studies. Alex will support the Construction Department in Tucson, contributing his skills and furthering his experience with the team.
Intern Carissa Barbour, a Social and Behavioral Sciences major at Arizona State University, said,
“I learned a great deal about what it takes at a corporate level to ensure employees are equipped for success and client satisfaction. The biggest takeaway for me was the opportunity to connect with people across various levels, which has given me valuable insights as I prepare for my career after graduation. This internship has solidified my belief that I chose the right field.”
